For several years now the BLSO has run a safe house for legal Burmese migrant workers who are in need of refuge. Often these workers are embroiled in the midst of a dispute with their factory employers. The BLSO does what it can to help resolve the issue, and tends to help mediate between the conflicting parties, sourcing proper legal advice and representation for the workers when necessary.The safe house also functions as an activities center, and the educational workshops on human and workers rights run by the BLSO take place here.
